The Photos of the Year 2008 Contest Gallery has more than 200 entry photos selected among some 2,000 photos submitted for year 2008, they are a collection of winners for the Best Photos in Photos of the Month Contests. The POTY gallery will be open for voting by all registered members. You are invited to explore this best gallery for the year 2008. Contest Arrangement POTY Contest 2008 are open from January 16, 2009 to February 28, 2009 for the selection of the best 12 Photos of the Year 2008. Voting Guidelines - For best result, please vote as many as possible photos in the POTY gallery. - A photo ranking will be determined by sum-up (instead of averaging) all ratings scores. - Ratings given by members under trial period will not be counted for ranking a photo. - You don't have to be a photography expert to make vote. - The photography subject itself should not be a criterion for rating. - Photography equipment used should not be a criterion for rating. - Be serious and respect the effort behind in creating the photo. - Evaluate all photos by a consistent norm and give your rating as fair as possible.
