Sony DSC-F828 External flash?

I just got a bracket and need an external flash to go with my camera (Sony Cybershot DSC-F828). I tried to go through Sony as well as the local Know it all store. Neither one of them could help me. If there's anyone who has a working bracket with external flash and connecting cord, please let me know exactly what you have because I would prefer not to have to buy another camera. I've been hired to photograph some weddings and I need this setup to eliminate the redeye all together and a strong flash that can be metered for short and long distances.

Thank you so much for your help. I greatly appreciate it. Please respond to crowbare@sbcglobal.net if you would. Thanks again.

The Sony HVL-F32x is a flash that will work well with the 828. It will mount directly on your camera hotshoe and can bounce. A new F32x comes with a small bracket and cord.

To use a different flash (such a Metz) get a standard hotshoe to PC Sync adapter, a cord. Stick it on your bracket connect them and start shooting...

EDIT: Sorry, I just realized I replied a thread that is four years old!

Hi,
I wanted to let you know, the site Photos-of-the-year.com is and has been at a stand still for sometime.
Our webmaster GH has been MIA since sometime in Dec.
I am not sure when or if he will return.
Some of the members here wanted to stay in touch and still share as they have in the past.
To this end I have created a site where we can share .
If you would like to be a part of our new site, please come to the site listed below.

On this site we have many of the same features and more like:
Live chat (private or public)
Photo uploading from your cell phone.
Maintained forums
e-mail and messaging
video and more.
